Ms. Hanish has been a member of the Akron Symphony Orchestra since coming to Cleveland in 2004. She holds a non-rotating section position, and has performed in dozens of classics, family and pops concerts each year.

With the Akron Symphony, Ms. Hanish has had the opportunity to hone skills on traditional orchestral repertoire as well as premiere new repertoire, and has had the opportunity to work with such conductors as Benjamin Zander, Christopher Wilkins and Christopher Lees.

Ms. Hanish also freelances, and has performed often with the Canton Symphony Orchestra, Erie Philharmonic and Suburban Symphony.
